The patient presented with a history of orthodontic treatment, during which a band was placed to maintain space. Over time, due to lack of intervention, the adjacent teeth gradually tilted into the space.
To provide a permanent and functionally stable solution, our principal dentist, Dr. Faris, implemented a multidisciplinary approach. Clear aligner therapy was used as an alternative to traditional braces to upright the adjacent teeth and regain the appropriate space. Once ideal spacing and alignment were achieved, a Straumann dental implant was placed to restore the missing tooth and maintain the regained space.
This treatment approach successfully addressed both aesthetic and functional concerns, resulting in a stable, long-term outcome for the patient.
