Porcelain Veneers

There are 2 different types of Veneers:

1. Direct composite veneers which are white composite that are bonded to the tooth surface.

2. Porcelain veneers are a thin layer of porcelain that are glued to the prepared tooth.

When it comes to Cosmetics dentistry, we have found that different individuals have different opinions on how they want their smile to look. So, how does our dentist know how teeth will look after the veneers are placed? and how can we be sure if the end results would be satisfactory?

Teeth Plus dentist use a method for Porcelain Veneers and is demonstrated on the client before going ahead with the procedure. See below images of one of our patients and the method we utilised to gain customer satisfaction.

Initial mould is taken. Then the mould is sent to our high-tech Lab, which makes the initial proposed design with wax.

The design is transferred to the patient’s mouth temporarily. Teeth are not shaved. Only temporary crown material is transferred to the patient’s mouth.

The patient decided to try a different design. Hence the wax up was sent back to our lab to fabricate a new wax design.

Case 2: When it comes to colour, patients have their own preferences, For example for this case our patient wished to get his teeth colour look natural to his age and tone of his skin which suited very well for his case.

Case 3: A nice youthful smile with veneers which is suitable for the patient’s age. Gained confidence to smile is very obvious in the right photo with veneers compare to the original teeth
